Shilo Sanders was ejected after punching tight end Zach Davidson during Saturday’s preseason game between the Buccaneers and Bills.
Sanders’ punch seemed to stem from excessive blocking by Davidson, who continued to push Sanders even after the play had finished. However, Sanders was the one penalized and ejected after retaliating with a punch.

Adding to Sanders’ appeal is his background as the son of Colorado coach and Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders and the brother of Shedeur Sanders, a rookie quarterback with the Browns. His tireless work ethic and friendly demeanor have made him a favorite among fans.
“Shilo’s very aggressive, very young, very hungry,” said Todd Bowles recently. “He can make plays in the box and we know he can run down and give us 100% on special teams, so this last week is going to be very important for those guys to show up.”
Sanders is proving to be a strong contender as an undrafted rookie aiming for a position on the Buccaneers’ final 53-man roster.
