The 2025 PGA Tour season comes to a close on Sunday with the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, where the top 30 from the FedEx Cup standings start from the same position for the title. The winner will receive the Tour Championship trophy, the FedEx Cup awards, and a $10 million payment, with the total prize pool reaching $40 million for the event.
Scottie Scheffler, already a five-time winner this season, is the frontrunner. He has earned nearly $20 million during the playoffs and aims to conclude the month with yet another victory and substantial earnings.
Scheffler is currently in fifth place, four strokes behind the co-leaders, as he tries to win consecutive tournaments. Tommy Fleetwood claims the top position while Russell Henley co-led for a time but has been surpassed by Patrick Cantlay, who recently achieved one of the lowest Saturday scores. Cantlay, the 2021 FedEx Cup champ, is looking to end a title drought since 2022.
