Bijan Robinson Shares Tips with Arch Manning Before Texas' Clash with Ohio State

Bijan Robinson, a former Texas star, provides guidance to current quarterback Arch Manning ahead of a crucial game against Ohio State.

Bijan Robinson, the Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl running back, shared his excitement for the upcoming match between his alma mater, Texas, and Ohio State. During a recent interview, he donned a burnt orange Texas hoodie and encouraged college football fans to showcase their school’s colors while embracing their school spirit.

Having once committed to Ohio State before choosing Texas, Robinson offered solid advice to current Texas quarterback Arch Manning, who is gearing up for his first road start against the reigning national champions. He emphasized the need for Manning to concentrate solely on the game and neglect any distractions from the crowd.

Robinson advised, “I think for him, it’s really important to tune out everybody around him. [Tune out] the stadium. Just focus on the field, what he has to do, the coaching, the coaching points and the adjustments, everything. When he can concentrate on that, everything else will take care of itself.”

His success in the NFL came from maintaining that focus and adhering to coaching cues, which also helped him score his first career touchdown. Robinson believes that innate talent ultimately surfaces during games and expects Manning to perform well given his extensive football background, including a family of Hall of Fame players.

“He’ll be ready to go; I don’t think anything will phase him,” Robinson remarked of Manning. “His upbringing in football will serve him well.” Relying on historical precedents, he mentioned how Texas quarterbacks have excelled against Ohio State, recalling a thrilling victory led by Vince Young nearly 20 years ago.
