After a stunning win against Alabama, Florida State secured the commitment of Jonah Winston, the younger sibling of famed quarterback Jameis Winston.

Florida State continues to shine during the opening week of the 2025 college football season. Following their impressive victory over the No. 8 ranked Alabama, the Seminoles welcomed three-star wide receiver Jonah Winston, brother of the iconic quarterback Jameis Winston, into their roster.

Jonah, ranked as the 47th wide receiver in the class of 2026, confirmed his commitment through social media.

Jonah was present at Florida State’s triumph against Alabama and has also received interest from other programs including Alabama, Auburn, and Texas A&M among over twenty offers. A versatile athlete, Jonah has played as both a quarterback and wide receiver, and is expanding his skills as a defensive back as Hoover High School gears up for its 2025 campaign.

Florida State fans hope Jonah can replicate his brother’s illustrious legacy, with Jameis having won the Heisman Trophy in 2013 while leading the Seminoles to a national championship as a redshirt freshman.
