WWE is set to return to Europe this Sunday with the Clash in Paris event in Nanterre, France. This year’s event slightly changes its name from the previous Clash at the Castle held in 2022 and 2024. Major stars will feature in the event, including John Cena, who continues his retirement tour against influencer-turned-wrestler Logan Paul. After losing his undisputed WWE championship to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, Cena was attacked by the returning Brock Lesnar.
Although Rhodes won’t be defending his title, Seth Rollins will risk his world heavyweight championship against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso in a fatal four-way, allowing Rollins to lose without being pinned or submitted.
Additionally, Roman Reigns will face Bronson Reed after a heated rivalry, and Sheamus will clash with Rusev in a good ol’ fashioned donnybrook after multiple brawls.
Naomi was supposed to defend her women’s championship against Stephanie Vaquer, but the match was canceled due to Naomi’s pregnancy.
Next, our wrestling experts provide predictions for the matches:
- John Cena vs. Logan Paul: Cena is highly favored to win as he prepares for his retirement.
- World Heavyweight Championship: Rollins is expected to retain against Punk, Knight, and Uso.
- Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed: Reigns is considered the clear favorite to win.
- Becky Lynch (c) vs. Nikki Bella: Lynch is predicted to retain her title.
- Sheamus vs. Rusev: Rusev might secure a victory to elevate his status.
