The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will launch their season against the Dallas Cowboys in the 2025 NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, September 4.
Philadelphia finished the previous season with a stellar 14-3 record, capped by a convincing 40-22 victory against Kansas City in the Super Bowl. In contrast, Dallas endured a disappointing year with a 7-10 record, having traded Micah Parsons to the Packers just before the season opener, and with quarterback Dak Prescott limited to eight games due to a hamstring injury.
Both teams will face off for the first time in Week 1 since 2000.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 PM ET at Lincoln Financial Field, with the Eagles favored by 7.5 points according to the latest odds. The over/under for total points is set at 47.5 with Prescott having an over/under passing yardage of 243.5.

Why the Cowboys Can Cover
With Prescott back, the Cowboys hope to improve after a tough season. Dallas added George Pickens to bolster the offense, giving Prescott another key receiving option.
