WWE is introducing a new pay-per-view event on its calendar. Wrestlepalooza is slated to take place in Indianapolis after Clash in Paris, featuring John Cena as the main attraction. Wrestlepalooza will occur on September 21 in Indianapolis, the same venue for this year’s Royal Rumble. WWE has officially announced that Cena will headline this event as part of his retirement tour, with other prominent wrestlers including Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Becky Lynch, and Drew McIntyre expected to appear. This will mark the first pay-per-view under WWE’s new partnership with ESPN and it will compete directly with AEW All Out.
A week prior to Wrestlepalooza, WWE’s YouTube channel will host Worlds Collide, which showcases a crossover between WWE and the Mexican promotion AAA. Although not classified as a pay-per-view, it is noteworthy for its main event featuring AAA mega champion El Hijo del Vikingo taking on intercontinental champion Dominik Mysterio.
Following these events, WWE superstars will travel to Perth, Australia for Crown Jewel before returning for Survivor Series in San Diego.
