The Green Bay Packers surprised many when they traded two first-round picks and Kenny Clark for star linebacker Micah Parsons. However, his debut for the team against the Detroit Lions is still uncertain due to a back injury.
According to ESPN, Parsons is dealing with an L4/L5 facet joint sprain and might need an epidural injection before the season opener. He was limited in recent practices and expressed that his participation depends on the training staff and coaches’ decision:
“I’m still ramping up. It’s a process of getting ready for football… it’s completely up to the coaches.”
Parsons, who missed some time due to his recovery and contract negotiations, has secured a four-year, $188 million contract with the Packers.
