The Jacksonville Jaguars have traded running back Tank Bigsby to the Philadelphia Eagles for fifth- and sixth-round draft picks in 2026, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Bigsby was part of a crowded backfield in Jacksonville, sharing space with first-round pick Travis Etienne Jr. and rookie Bhayshul Tuten, and he logged a mere five carries during the Jaguars’ 26-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers last Sunday.
The Auburn alum had a standout 2024 season, rushing for 766 yards and seven touchdowns at an average of 4.6 yards per carry. In his rookie season of 2023, he carried the ball 50 times for 132 yards and two touchdowns.
Having acquired Bigsby, the Eagles bolster their roster with a promising running back to support seasoned Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley, along with Will Shipley and AJ Dillon. It’s worth noting that Shipley suffered a rib injury in the team’s first game against the Dallas Cowboys last week.
