In relation to Ronaldo’s role in the national team, Carvalho emphasized that Coach Roberto deserved recognition for reintroducing him to the team post the 2022 World Cup, indicating the coach’s belief that Cristiano can perform in the upcoming World Cup.
Carvalho noted, “I can’t predict how long he will last, whether there’s a limit or not, but we’re all extremely pleased to have him as our captain leading us.”

Amid discussions about Ronaldo’s prominent position within the national squad, Carvalho reassured: “We’re equipped with excellent leaders. Cristiano knows he will eventually face a time challenge. He feels good and remains integral to the team. Right now, he is taking it day by day.”
