Going into Super Bowl LIX, a major story was whether the Kansas City Chiefs could achieve three consecutive Super Bowl victories. Although they fell short, history was made as Eagles offensive lineman Darian Kinnard became the second player in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.
Kinnard, now a vital part of three championship teams, only saw action in two games this season but secured his third ring with the Eagles triumph over the Chiefs. This accomplishment places him in an exclusive club alongside Ken Norton Jr.
“I guess I can say I’m kind of spoiled when it comes to that, three years in, two rings and possibly going for a third,” Kinnard said, expressing his excitement about the ongoing winning streak.
