Kevin Patullo's Path: An Insight into the Eagles' Top Offensive Coordinator Candidate
As the Eagles look to replace Kellen Moore, Kevin Patullo emerges as a leading candidate for the offensive coordinator role, shaping a prominent chapter in Philadelphia's coaching future.
NEW ORLEANS – The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing to replace Kellen Moore after his departure to become head coach of the New Orleans Saints following their Super Bowl victory.
The Eagles are considering Kevin Patullo as a strong local candidate for the role of offensive coordinator. Patullo currently serves as the passing game coordinator and has been with the Eagles since 2021 when he was brought in by head coach Nick Sirianni from the Indianapolis Colts.
Having worked closely with Moore, Patullo gained insight into the offensive strategies employed throughout the season. He acknowledged how much he has learned during this collaboration, emphasizing mutual growth and the sharing of ideas.
“We’ve challenged each other and pushed each other as coaches to continue to grow,” Patullo remarked in a recent media session.
With the potential for a promotion, the Eagles must finalize their decision soon, yet Patullo’s experience and existing relationship with the coaching staff position him as a likely successor.
