Seth Curry Joins Warriors, Partnering with Brother Stephen for First Time
Seth Curry has signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, teaming up with his brother Stephen Curry for the first time in their careers.
Seth Curry has signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday. Curry will team up with his brother, Stephen Curry, for the first time in their careers during the 2025-26 season after playing 76 games over the last two seasons for the Charlotte Hornets.
Curry, 35, posted averages of 6.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.9 assists during the 2024-25 season. Throughout his 11-year NBA career, he has maintained a shooting percentage of 43.3% from the three-point line on four attempts per game.
This signing follows the resolution of the Jonathan Kuminga contract issue, which saw him secure a two-year deal. The Warriors had also been in discussions with players like Al Horford, De’Anthony Melton, and Gary Payton II but could not finalize any agreements until Kuminga’s situation was resolved.
Golden State opens its season against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 21.
