Vikings' Missed Field Goal Incident: Did It Hit a Camera Wire?

A controversial play during the Vikings vs. Browns game went unnoticed as a missed field goal appeared to hit a camera wire.

The Minnesota Vikings triumphed over the Cleveland Browns in London with a score of 21-17, led by a remarkable 80-yard game-winning touchdown drive facilitated by Carson Wentz. However, a significant missed call in this match caused some controversy for the Vikings.

In the fourth quarter, the Vikings had Will Reichard attempt a 51-yard field goal which could have tied the game at 17. Unfortunately, the kick veered wide right, seemingly due to interference from a camera wire which went unnoticed at the time.

Despite the apparent misplay, Wentz clinched victory with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Addison just 25 seconds before the final whistle. Although Reichard’s kick interference might have altered the game’s dynamics, it ultimately did not affect the Vikings’ victory.
