Christian Pulisic set to be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks following AC Milan evaluations

U.S. soccer star Christian Pulisic is expected to miss at least two weeks due to injury sustained during a match against Australia.

American soccer star Christian Pulisic will be sidelined for at least two weeks following medical evaluations with AC Milan, as reported by multiple Italian media outlets on Friday. Pulisic had started the 2025-26 season positively, scoring six goals in eight matches across all competitions. He suffered an injury during a friendly match against Australia with the USMNT during the recent international break.

AC Milan plans to reevaluate Pulisic’s condition in ten days after MRI scans indicated a low-grade lesion in his right biceps femoris. Pulisic is likely to miss AC Milan’s upcoming matches against Fiorentina and Pisa but could possibly return for the away game against Atalanta if cleared by the team’s medical staff. This timeline might also allow him to play in the USMNT matches against Paraguay and Uruguay next month. Pulisic was substituted in the 31st minute of the match against Australia, although the USMNT claimed victory with two goals from Haji Wright.
