Naturally, only three of the six - Ohio State, Indiana, and Texas A&M - are regarded by oddsmakers as serious contenders for the national title.
Ohio State leads the odds, while Indiana ranks third behind Alabama (13/2). Both teams are heavy favorites to make it to the Big Ten Championship Game, and with a bit of luck, a rematch in Indianapolis is possible. The scheduled finale at No. 25 Michigan is the only ranked opponent left for these teams, and both are expected to be favored in their upcoming matches.
Texas A&M occupies the fifth spot on the national title odds ranking, just behind Oregon (19/2), and is firmly in contention with Alabama (+125) in the SEC champion race. With three ranked opponents ahead, including away games at No. 20 LSU and No. 15 Missouri, should they finish 9-0, their odds will likely improve.
Despite being ranked No. 7, Georgia Tech has a long shot at 100-1 for the national title but holds the second-shortest odds among ACC teams, following only Miami (17-1). With a favorable remaining schedule, they have a solid opportunity to end the season unbeaten.
However, BYU doesn’t receive the same respect within the Big 12, listed at 225-1 for the national title. Their road games against No. 14 Texas Tech and No. 21 Cincinnati pose significant challenges.
Lastly, Navy, the sole undefeated team from the Group of Five conferences at 6-0, faces long odds at 1000-1 for the national title and ranks fourth in the American Conference behind favored teams USF, Tulane, and North Texas. Their upcoming schedule looks formidable, filled with potential losses, but a strong finish could keep them in the title conversation.
