While leaving the court, Hurley waved at the Creighton fans and proudly displayed his championship rings, boasting of UConn’s recent success in college basketball. His reaction came after the Huskies fought back from a 14-point deficit to triumph, marking UConn’s first win in Omaha since the two teams joined the Big East.

After the match, Hurley expressed his gratification, wishing more Creighton fans were present to witness the celebration. “I waved at some people, but I just wished that there was more of them still left.”
