Eagles' A.J. Brown Excluded from Week 8 Game Against Giants Due to Hamstring Injury

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without their top wide receiver, A.J. Brown, as he has been ruled out for the upcoming match against the New York Giants due to a hamstring issue.

The Philadelphia Eagles will be missing their star wide receiver A.J. Brown as they face the New York Giants in their upcoming game. The team has announced that Brown will sit out this week due to a hamstring injury.

Brown has missed practice all week and is among four Eagles ruled out for the game. Other players include cornerback Adoree’ Jackson (concussion), offensive lineman Cam Jurgens (knee), and pass rusher Azeez Ojulari (hamstring).

In his seven games this season, Brown has made 29 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns. He recently turned in his best performance of the year, catching four passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns in a victory against the Minnesota Vikings. He and his teammate DeVonta Smith recorded a total of 304 receiving yards together during that game.

With Brown sidelined, expect Smith to be the primary target for quarterback Jalen Hurts this week. Smith previously logged a career-high of 183 receiving yards last week and aims to continue that momentum.

The Eagles have secured 12 consecutive home victories over the Giants, including in the playoffs, but they’ll strive for that 13th straight with Brown absent.
