Shaquille O'Neal's Customized Range Rover Missing After Transport to LSU Event
Investigation continues into the theft of Shaquille O'Neal's custom Range Rover during its transport for an LSU game.
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal had a custom 2025 Range Rover stolen this month in Georgia during its transport to Louisiana, where he was scheduled to drive it for an LSU game. Authorities are currently seeking the vehicle, which they stated was fraudulently taken from a fabrication business between October 20-22 and was later spotted in the Atlanta area.
Effortless Motors customized the $180,000 vehicle for O’Neal and arranged transit via FirstLine Trucking LLC. Investigators are examining the transport process and, while the luxurious SUV hasn’t been found, suspects have been identified, and search warrants were secured from the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office. Effortless Motors is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the vehicle’s return.
Authorities are probing into FirstLine’s involvement in the transport, as the company asserted it was hacked but reportedly failed to disclose that information until after the vehicle had vanished.
“We do all his cars. This time, we set up transport, and transport claimed they were hacked and don’t know who picked up the vehicle,” said Ahmad Abdelrahman, a spokesperson for Effortless Motors.
O’Neal directed numerous modifications to the SUV, including a complete overhaul of the interior and added seating to fit his 7-foot-1 frame. He has collaborated with Effortless Motors on multiple vehicles since 2023.
“We take the security and trust of our clients very seriously,” Abdelrahman noted. “This was a highly coordinated criminal act targeting the transport company’s network. Police are indicating this could be part of a larger crime ring. … We’re awaiting further updates.”
