During Thursday Night Football, Derrick Henry, a running back for the Baltimore Ravens, etched his name in NFL history by reaching 12,000 career rushing yards in a match against the Miami Dolphins, which the Ravens won 28-6.
Henry rushed the ball 19 times, accumulating 119 yards, and became the 17th player to achieve this milestone. He showcased his speed with a remarkable 35-yard run late in the third quarter.

Henry’s induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame appears almost assured. The 31-year-old has already surpassed Walter Payton for the fifth all-time in touchdown runs, totaling 112.
He recently had a phenomenal season in 2024, recording 1,921 rushing yards, the highest for a player over 30, alongside being the ninth in history to rush for over 2,000 yards in a single season. Moreover, Henry is a Heisman Trophy winner from his collegiate days at Alabama.
