New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart is gaining attention, particularly from Robert Saleh. Ahead of the Week 9 matchup between the 49ers and the Giants, Saleh expressed his admiration for Dart’s performance and the effective strategies employed by Giants’ management.
During a Thursday press conference, Saleh shared his insights on Dart’s gameplay, highlighting the quarterback’s abilities. He empathized with Daboll’s decision to follow Dart into the injury tent a few weeks back, which prompted an investigation by the NFL.
“He is uber-talented,” Saleh commented. “I understand why Daboll went into the blue tent. I probably would’ve gone too. The kid is good, man. I think New York hit on this one big time.”
Saleh acknowledged that Daboll and Mike Kafka are effectively showcasing Dart’s talents.
“He’s dynamic, he’s decisive, he’s accurate. Studying his tape over the last five starts has been a joy. They’re doing a good job with him,” Saleh noted. “This kid is going to be special.”
The Giants traded back into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft to select Dart at No. 25 overall, a move that is proving beneficial as he has recorded 984 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions across his first five starts, alongside impressive rushing statistics.
