Fantasy Football Week 9 Sleepers: TreVeyon Henderson Aims to Be More Than Just a One-Week Wonder

Explore under-the-radar players poised to improve your fantasy lineup during Week 9.

D’Andre Swift (groin) is sidelined for the Bears, and Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is also out for the Patriots. This opens the door for rookies Kyle Monangai and TreVeyon Henderson to step into prominent roles in Week 9, making them valuable sleeper options in most leagues.

Week 9 Analysis

Kyle Monangai has an ideal matchup against the Bengals, who rank first in Fantasy points allowed to running backs, with 12 rushing yards from a minimum of 11.5 PPR points.

In his previous games, Monangai delivered, notably with 81 rushing yards and a touchdown, alongside two catches for 17.4 PPR points in Week 7 against New Orleans.

TreVeyon Henderson has been less reliable, with just two games of double-digit carries this entire season, and none in the past two weeks. However, he showed promise with 75 yards on 10 carries against the Browns in Week 8. Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels remains optimistic about Henderson’s potential: “I don’t think it’s a secret that he’s fast, and he does some really good things with the ball. Excited to see him build on that and continue to grow.”

Henderson’s upcoming performance is critical as he competes for touches with Terrell Jennings, who has also shown potential against the Falcons. Given Atlanta ranks ninth in points conceded for running backs, both players are primed for success as they aim to deliver solid performances for the remainder of the season.
