Lions' Dan Campbell Shares Hilarious Halloween Costume Story as His Wife Reveals Evidence

NFL coach Dan Campbell reminisces about his past Halloween as Marilyn Monroe, with a delightful revelation from his wife.

In celebration of Halloween, Dan Campbell, the coach of the Detroit Lions, recently revealed a humorous story about one of his past costumes. During an interview at the Lions’ facility, he shared that he once dressed as Marilyn Monroe. The costume was a collaborative effort with his wife, Holly Campbell, who provided him with a white dress to complement his blonde wig, creating quite a striking resemblance to the iconic actress.

“That was a long time ago, and that wasn’t here,” Campbell recalled while reflecting on his time in the NFL from 2006 to 2008. “Holly’s the creative one. She always had pretty good ideas for stuff.”

After the press conference, Holly took to social media to share some evidence of the costume. Interestingly, they did not coordinate their outfits; while Campbell embraced his Monroe persona, Holly opted for a halo and angel wings.

As for Halloween this year, Campbell mentioned he will be distributing candy, particularly his favorites—Reese’s peanut butter cups and M&Ms.

Looking ahead, Campbell will lead the Lions against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
