Dabo Swinney Celebrates Clemson's Victory Over Florida State

After a challenging season, Clemson's coach expresses joy over a significant win against Florida State.

After a series of grievances following recent losses, Clemson’s coach Dabo Swinney was in high spirits after a decisive 24-10 victory against Florida State. This win marked the Tigers’ first home victory over a Power Five opponent since mid-2024, ending Swinney’s longest losing streak at Memorial Stadium and keeping Clemson’s bowl aspirations alive.

The Clemson (4-5, 3-4 ACC) defense executed well, forcing two turnovers and limiting Florida State’s rushing offense to just 110 yards. “I’m just so happy for them (the seniors) to taste this victory tonight,” Swinney remarked. “It doesn’t get old winning against the Noles, and it’s never easy to beat them.”

As the season nears its end, Clemson has critical matches against Louisville, Furman, and South Carolina to salvage their bowl streak under Swinney. The latest performance instilled a sense of confidence in the team, who is keen to maintain their postseason eligibility.
