Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Davante Adams left the NFC West clash against the San Francisco 49ers during the fourth quarter due to an oblique injury. Although he was designated as questionable to return, Head Coach Sean McVay indicated that the Rams’ significant lead may have influenced the decision to keep him out for the rest of the game.

McVay stated, “He got his oblique. He probably could have returned if the situation was different, similar to Puka Nacua last week. He was outstanding today and you really noticed his impact early in the game, finishing with a touchdown. I don’t have specific updates on his injury.”
At the time of his exit, Adams had recorded six receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown—marking his sixth touchdown in the past three games, bringing his total to nine touchdown catches this season, which is the highest in the NFL.
Adams, who is 32 years old, has made a significant impact since joining the Rams this offseason, teaming up with Nacua to create one of the league’s best wide receiver duos. Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford started Week 10 leading the NFL with 21 touchdown passes paired with just two interceptions, adding four more touchdowns in that matchup.
As the Rams (7-2) now share first place in the NFC West with the Seattle Seahawks, Adams’ health becomes crucial as the two teams prepare to face off in Week 11 in Los Angeles.
