Dastan Satpayev: Chelsea's Future Star Shines Bright
Teenage winger Dastan Satpayev from Kairat will join Chelsea next season as the club reinforces its young talent pool.
On Tuesday, an 18-year-old forward from Chelsea, Estevao, scored in their 3-0 Champions League win over Barcelona. Just a day later, Dastan Satpayev, a 17-year-old winger from Kairat Almaty, also showcased his talent by scoring in a match against Copenhagen. This goal made him the third youngest player to score in Champions League history at just 17 years and 106 days.
In February, Chelsea secured Satpayev’s signature for €4 million, a record transfer fee for the Kazakhstan Premier League. He will continue his development at Kairat on loan until August 2026 before making the transition to Chelsea.
Satpayev’s impressive speed and ability to finish with both feet have made him a standout player at just 17 years old. He has already recorded 19 goals and eight assists in all competitions, showcasing his potential as a future star for Chelsea, alongside their existing young talents.
