North Texas has officially named Neal Brown as the new head coach of the football program. This decision follows the departure of Eric Morris, who accepted a position at Oklahoma State.
Neal Brown, aged 45, has a decade of head coaching experience, including stints at West Virginia and Troy. Most recently, he worked as a special assistant for Steve Sarkisian at the University of Texas.
In his new role, Brown expressed excitement about partnering with Jared Mosley, North Texas’s athletic director. He emphasized the importance of a player-driven program and is eager to engage with the team as they prepare for the American Conference Championship.
Brown previously led Troy to significant achievements, including an impressive upset over LSU. His leadership will be critical for North Texas as they aim for success in the upcoming seasons.
