Tom Brady Leads Star-Studded Lineup for 2026 World Cup Draw

The upcoming FIFA World Cup draw will feature sports legends, including Tom Brady, who expressed his excitement about the event.

The FIFA organization revealed the assistants for the 2026 World Cup Draw, scheduled for this Friday. Notable North American sports figures will help, including Tom Brady, a six-time Super Bowl champion and lead NFL analyst for FOX Sports.

“Being part of the Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup is an incredible honor — it’s the kind of global stage every athlete dreams of,” stated Brady. “I’m excited to help set the path for a tournament that brings the world together like nothing else.”

The Final Draw will be broadcast live from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET, where 48 nations will learn their group stage matchups for the World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Tom Brady will assist along with NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, MLB All-Star Aaron Judge from the New York Yankees, and NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal.

“I follow soccer closely, so being part of the World Cup draw is incredibly special,” Judge reflected. “With the final set for New York New Jersey — right where I play — I can’t wait to see which teams will be battling for the title in our own backyard.”

Additionally, FIFA announced that former England captain Rio Ferdinand and renowned broadcaster Samantha Johnson will coordinate the draw, while two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning will host the red carpet.

The tournament itself kicks off on Thursday, June 11.
