LeBron James Achieves Milestone With 21st All-Star Selection
LeBron James prepares for his 21st All-Star Game, further extending his record in NBA history.
LeBron James is set to make his 21st All-Star Game appearance this weekend, further solidifying his historic status in the NBA.
In a lighthearted exchange during last year’s All-Star Game, James reminisced with fellow players Nikola Jokić and Luka Dončić about his very first All-Star appearance. While he humorously exaggerated this memory, stating he played alongside Wilt Chamberlain and Bob Cousy in 1968, he actually made his debut in 2005.
James expressed his gratitude about this election, saying, “It’s always special and very humbling, and I don’t take it for granted, being an All-Star.”
Having garnered over 70 million career All-Star votes, LeBron is the league’s all-time leading scorer and will join other stars including Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, and James Harden.
This year’s All-Star Game will take place in San Francisco.
