A second-half double from substitute Christian Pulisic led AC Milan to a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Torino on Monday evening, securing their place back atop Serie A.
After suffering defeats earlier in the weekend to title challengers Napoli and Internazionale, Milan required a win to regain the lead. They found themselves trailing 2-0 just 17 minutes into the match, with Nikola Vlasic scoring from the penalty spot followed by a goal from Duvan Zapata.
However, Milan made a comeback, starting with an impressive long-range goal from Adrien Rabiot seven minutes later. Pulisic, stepping onto the field as a substitute in the 66th minute, quickly turned the tide by scoring two goals, including the decisive strike that ultimately led to Milan’s victory.
This win extended Milan’s unbeaten streak to 13 matches, while Torino, grappling with the season’s worst defensive record, now sits in the lower tier of the standings.
