NFL Week 16 Injury Report: Adams Uncertain for TNF, Jackson Absent from Practice

An overview of the latest injury updates ahead of Thursday Night Football, focusing on key players and their availability.

The final three weeks of the 2025 NFL regular season are upon us, so naturally the remaining games come with plenty of weight to them. As many as nine teams can clinch playoff spots in Week 16. The Denver Broncos can clinch the AFC’s No. 1 overall seed this week with a victory, combined with specific losses or ties from the Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. The Philadelphia Eagles can also end a 21-year streak of not winning the NFC East in consecutive seasons with a win over the Washington Commanders or if the Dallas Cowboys lose.

It’s impossible to assess team performance without factoring in injuries, and with every team dealing with some, this too influences the outcome of the season.

With practice reports now open, here’s a look at the key injuries ahead of Thursday’s essential matchup:

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks (-1.5)

Date: Thursday, 8:15 p.m. ET | Stream on Prime Video
Los Angeles Rams: WR Davante Adams (knee/hamstring) DOUBTFUL, DE Braden Fiske (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
Seattle Seahawks: LT Charles Cross (hamstring) OUT
Adams has not practiced since suffering a non-contact hamstring injury during the Rams’ win against the Detroit Lions. His absence would significantly affect QB Matthew Stafford and coach Sean McVay’s game plan.

On the other hand, Seattle’s Cross will miss the game, which is critical for the performance of QB Sam Darnold.

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders (+6.5) (Saturday)

The Eagles have several players who missed practice on Wednesday, including DE Jalen Carter and OL Landon Dickerson. Both have significant roles on this team’s performance.

The Commanders also report several absentees but see QB Jayden Daniels limited.
