Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings Update for Week 16: Predicting 2026 Risers and Fallers
An analysis of updated dynasty fantasy football rankings focusing on projected player performances for the upcoming 2026 season.
In over half of Fantasy Football leagues, the post-Week 15 landscape shifts dramatically. For redraft leagues, this brings sorrow, but for Dynasty leagues, it signifies a clearer vision for the future. As I begin compiling my 2026 Rankings, set to be unveiled on January 1st, I want to highlight potential risers and fallers based on current trade charts.
The injured players will undoubtedly see a rise as they recover. Key names to watch include Cam Skattebo, Malik Nabers, Travis Hunter, Garrett Wilson, and Sam Laporta, who may rank higher by January. Other established names like Tyreek Hill, Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, and Daniel Jones will be evaluated next based on their health and outlook for 2026.
Predicting non-injury risers is more intricate, but don’t overlook names such as Trevor Lawrence, Breece Hall, Omarion Hampton, and Michael Pittman. Keep an eye on Luther Burden, whose playoff performance may elevate his value after recovering from an ankle injury.
We featured Brian Simpson from QB List on Fantasy Football Today Dynasty this week, discussing top players like Josh Allen, Jahmyr Gibbs, Ja’Marr Chase, and Brock Bowers. Check out the latest episodes:
For fallers, we will predominantly focus on running backs over 28 and wide receivers above 30, in addition to free agents uncertain of their next steps. All eyes are on players like Rico Dowdle, and the future of Travis Kelce is a pressing concern due to potential retirement.
