
Spain is set to finish 2025 as the top men’s team in the FIFA rankings. Limited changes were noted in the updated rankings released on Monday, counting only the matches from the Arab Cup since the last standings were published on November 19.
The top ten teams remain unchanged, listed as follows: Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Croatia following Spain.
Spain successfully qualified from World Cup Group E and will face Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde in Group H during the 2026 tournament jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
FIFA announced that Vietnam achieved the most significant rank increase, moving up three positions to be placed 107th.
The next FIFA rankings will be disclosed on January 19.
