Danny Scudero Chooses Colorado: Deion Sanders Recruits FBS Receiving Champion
Danny Scudero, the leading receiver in college football, has committed to Colorado after a standout season at San Jose State.
Deion Sanders took a significant step in revamping his offense by securing a commitment from Danny Scudero, the top receiver in college football for the last season. Scudero has transitioned from San Jose State, where he achieved impressive stats with 88 receptions, 1,291 yards, and 10 touchdowns throughout the 2025 season. Previously, he began his journey at Sacramento State before making his mark at the FBS level.
This commitment is pivotal for Colorado as they seek to fill the gap left by their major target Omarion Miller, who also entered the transfer portal. In addition to Scudero, Colorado is bringing in new recruits, including Christian Ward and Xavier McDonald, to enhance their receiving corps, vital for the anticipated quarterback Julian Lewis.
The addition of Scudero provides a solid foundation for Colorado’s upcoming season, as they aim to improve from being ranked as the 116th scoring offense in the nation.
