Get the essential details on Zuffa Boxing 01, featuring Callum Walsh against Carlos Ocampo, including how to watch, fight card, and more.

Professional boxing has introduced a new competitor with Zuffa Boxing making its entrance on Friday, featuring a match between rising star Callum Walsh and seasoned fighter Carlos Ocampo. This event will occur in Las Vegas, ahead of UFC 324, and will be streamed live exclusively on Paramount+.

Walsh, boasting an undefeated record of 15 wins (11 by knockout), is anticipated to be a cornerstone for Zuffa Boxing, an organization co-founded by Dana White, who is also the president of UFC. Just last September, Walsh achieved a crucial victory over Fernando Vargas on the undercard of the much-anticipated match between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford. Currently ranked No. 4 and 5 by the IBF and WBC in junior middleweight, he will be fighting at middleweight for this event.

Ocampo, in contrast, presents a formidable challenge. With a record of 38 wins (26 knockouts) and only three losses to elite fighters, including Errol Spence Jr. and Tim Tszyu, he enters this match on a three-fight knockout streak.

A significant matchup on the main card pits Julian Rodriguez against Cain Sandoval, with Rodriguez returning from an exciting tenth-round stoppage victory against Avious Griffin. Sandoval, undefeated with 17 wins (15 by KO) is a rising prospect and has knocked out nearly all of his opponents.
