Bryce James Pledges to Play Basketball for Arizona

Bryce James, son of NBA star LeBron James, commits to Arizona for college basketball.

Bryce James, the younger son of NBA superstar LeBron James and brother of Bronny James, announced on Instagram that he will join the Arizona Wildcats basketball team for the 2025 class.

His father, LeBron James, expressed his excitement with a heartfelt post:
“CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!!, SO PROUD OF YOU!!”
(Translation: Congratulations, Maximus! I am so proud of you!)

Bryce is set to be the second of LeBron’s sons to compete at the Division I level, following Bronny, who briefly played for USC before going pro. Their journey continues as they become the first father-son duo to play together in an NBA game.

Standing 6'4" and classified as a four-star prospect from Sierra Canyon High School in California, Bryce James has made a name for himself. He was also invited to participate in the USA Basketball under-17 national team training camp over the summer.

Ranked 30th overall in California, he is currently the 47th shooting guard in the nation according to 247 Sports.

Bryce joins five-star prospect Dwayne Aristode in coach Tommy Lloyd’s 2025 recruiting class.
