England Plans $21 Million Training Facility for 2026 World Cup in Kansas City

The England men's soccer team is gearing up for the 2026 World Cup, planning to establish a training base in Kansas City, with costs around $21 million.

The England men’s soccer team has identified Kansas City as their potential training base for the upcoming 2026 World Cup. With the tournament just months away, plans are being finalized for a facility costing approximately $21 million to be established at the Swope Soccer Village.

After securing a spot in the World Cup easily, England will encounter teams such as Ghana, Panama, and Croatia in Group L this year. The opening match will be against their traditional rival, Croatia, a team that eliminated them in the 2018 tournament.

Tuchel emphasized the strength of their competitors and the importance of not underestimating any opponent, stating:

“We have Croatia and Ghana — two regulars in World Cups — and we have Panama. I don’t know much about Panama but we will know everything about them when the tournament starts.”

Looking ahead, England will first face Uruguay in a friendly at Wembley before their World Cup journey begins. Throughout their matches leading to the tournament, they will be aiming to perfect their strategies and secure victories.
