2026 ACC Football Schedule: Key Games and New Timing for Conference Title Match
The 2026 ACC football schedule features key matchups and a new kickoff time for the conference championship.
The ACC Championship Game will transition from Saturday night to a noon kickoff for the 2026 college football season. This adjustment follows the Big 12’s decision to switch its title game to Friday night, marking a significant scheduling shift announced with the ACC’s complete schedule for the 2026 season.
Miami made its debut in the College Football Playoff last season but missed the conference title game due to tiebreakers. For the upcoming season, twelve ACC members will participate in nine conference games, while five will play eight.
Following their championship appearance, Duke and Virginia will return to Charlotte, where Duke claimed victory. Miami, expected to have high contender odds, finished last year just shy of clinching its first national title since the early 2000s.
The initial matchups for Week 0 include ACC teams, with NC State competing against Virginia in Brazil, and North Carolina set to face TCU in Dublin. This scheduling comes alongside expectations of competitive matchups as the season unfolds.
