Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated yet another goal, helping Al-Nassr secure a decisive 3-0 victory against Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League, moving the team within just three points of the top. Joao Felix showcased his skills as he assisted Ronaldo and Simakan in scoring, securing Al-Nassr’s fourth consecutive victory.
Al-Nassr’s Dominance
From the kick-off at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium, Al-Nassr was in control. Early moments saw Felix and Sadio Mane create a scoring opportunity that the latter headed wide. Ronaldo was active, yet he faced a few missed chances, including a headed attempt that went off target.
Despite some pressure from Al-Kholood, Al-Nassr remained dominant in the match. After the halftime break, Ronaldo finally found the net, opening the scoring after receiving a pass from Felix. This marked Ronaldo’s 17th goal of the Saudi Pro League season.
Simakan doubled the lead shortly after, capitalizing on another assist from Felix. Al-Kholood’s bad day worsened when captain Bahbri was sent off for a foul in the 70th minute.
The night ended with Coman successfully converting a penalty to seal a comprehensive win. Felix was undoubtedly the standout player, assisting both goals and creating several chances, though he did not manage to score himself.
Al-Kholood struggled thoroughly and will need to regroup, especially with Bahbri facing suspension from further play.
