
Top Golfers Highlight 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur Field
The 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur set to feature a star-studded lineup, including Kiara Romero, as excitement builds ahead of the Masters.
The 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur is poised to once again host some of the top talents in women’s amateur golf, culminating in a three-round championship set for April 4. With a total of 71 players confirmed, 48 of the top 50 from the current World Amateur Golf Rankings will compete just before the 2026 Masters. The representation spans 23 countries and territories, along with all six inhabited continents.
Returning champions Tsubasa Kajitani and Anna Davis, along with 2025 runner-up Asterik Talley and world No. 1 amateur Kiara Romero, headline the impressive lineup. Additionally, Megha Ganne and Amanda Sambach are expected to make their sixth appearance at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
Taking place the week before the Masters, this event features a field of 72 players competing across 54 holes with stroke play format.
Tournament Structure
- The initial two rounds will be played over the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday and Thursday.
- Following the 36-hole cut, a practice round on Friday will determine the top 30 players and ties eligible to play at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday.
This charming tournament arranged in its seventh iteration has celebrated past winners such as major champion Jennifer Kupcho, Rose Zhang (who clinched victory at Augusta in 2023), and Lottie Woad, currently ranked as the eighth professional in the world.
