The stage is set for Super Bowl LX featuring the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium where they will vie for the Lombardi Trophy. We have the teams, venue, and stakes figured out, but what about the weather?
For the first time since Super Bowl LV, the game will be held outdoors. The last four Super Bowls were hosted in domed stadiums, with the last outdoor game occurring at Raymond James Stadium. This year, both teams will need to consider the forecast.
Expected conditions on game day indicate a high of 67°F, slightly warmer than the area’s average 62°F. Last year, the temperature was 56°F. The record high reached 78°F in 2016.
AccuWeather predicts early low clouds and fog with a slight chance of rain later in the day, estimating a 30% chance of precipitation and a 5% thunderstorm possibility. These storms could lead to game delays if they occur.
In the evening, temperatures are projected to drop to about 54°F.
