Maxx Crosby's Discontent with Raiders Linked to Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero

Maxx Crosby expresses feelings of betrayal towards the Raiders over a shutdown last season, involving key figures Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero.

One of the major topics in the NFL this offseason revolves around the Las Vegas Raiders and their talented pass rusher, Maxx Crosby. Recently, Crosby was placed on the bench due to a knee injury in December, a decision he ‘vehemently’ disagreed with, according to Jay Glazer of Fox. This incident has led Crosby to reconsider his future with the Raiders.

There are conflicting reports regarding his situation. While Glazer suggests Crosby’s days with the Raiders are numbered, Crosby himself states he hasn’t demanded a trade and is on good terms with the team. However, Albert Breer points out that the organization needs to mend its relationship with Crosby, which he claims extends to the highest ranks, involving figures like Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero.

Breer noted, “There’s a lot of fence-mending that needs to occur if the Raiders intend to keep Maxx. This goes all the way to the top, with communication regarding his injury leaving a lasting impression.**.

Interestingly, Guerrero, noted for his long-term association with Brady, has taken on the role of the Raiders’ wellness coordinator and played a part in informing Crosby about his injury-related shut down, which has caused much frustration.

Crosby also suspected that these decisions may have been motivated by the Raiders’ desire to secure the top pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, which they successfully achieved.

Crosby recently said on the ‘Let’s Go!’ podcast:

“My focus has been on getting healthy because that’s the only thing I can control right now.”

Klint Kubiak, the new Raiders coach, expressed his intentions to work with Crosby to ensure he is part of the team’s success moving forward. He reiterated, “We want him to be a part of our success going forward, there’s no doubt about that.”

Crosby continues to be one of the standout defensive players in the NFL, having led in various stats since he joined the league in 2019. If he were to become available, many teams in contention would likely show interest.
