Cristiano Ronaldo has rejoined the Al-Nassr squad and is expected to play against Al-Fateh this Saturday. The Portuguese star missed three matches after expressing his dissatisfaction with the Public Investment Fund’s actions during the January transfer window but is ready to return to the field.
Ronaldo’s last appearance was on January 30, where he scored in Al-Nassr’s victory over Al-Kholood alongside teammates Mohamed Simakan and Kingsley Coman. The team has continued to succeed in his absence, securing three consecutive victories.
He had voiced concerns over a perceived lack of support from the PIF, particularly as teammate Karim Benzema was allowed to join Al-Hilal, currently leading the Saudi Pro League.
After rejoining training, reports indicate that Ronaldo will be selected for the upcoming match. His return is a major boost for Al-Nassr, who, despite their current seven-match winning streak, need a victory to climb back in the league standings.
Ronaldo aims to reach the milestone of 1,000 career goals, with 961 achieved so far. His performances in the remaining matches with Al-Nassr will be crucial to this goal.
