Tottenham to Appoint Igor Tudor as Interim Manager Following Thomas Frank's Dismissal

The Croatian coach is poised to take over Tottenham until the end of the current season, aiming to stabilize the club's performance.

Tottenham is preparing to name former Juventus manager Igor Tudor as their interim head coach until the end of the 2025-26 season, as reported by multiple sources. The Croatian manager has previously managed Galatasaray, Hellas Verona, Olympique Marseille, Lazio, and most recently, Juventus. He was appointed in March 2025 to replace Thiago Motta, but was let go earlier this season by the Italian club.

This transition comes shortly after the team parted ways with Thomas Frank, who was dismissed due to a disappointing string of results—just two wins in 17 Premier League matches. Tudor is set to take over at a time when Tottenham is currently sitting in 14th place, merely five points clear of the relegation zone.

The decision to hire Tudor appears tactical, allowing the club to evaluate options for a more permanent role during the upcoming summer, especially when many managerial changes are expected after the 2026 World Cup. Meanwhile, there have been speculations about a potential return for Mauricio Pochettino, who had a successful tenure at the club from 2014 to 2019, leading them to a Champions League final.

As for Tudor, his immediate challenge will be to unify the squad and achieve short-term goals while positioning himself favorably for a more extended deal in the future—similar to his recent experience at Juventus.
