Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the starting line-up for Al-Nassr and scored against Al-Fateh after missing the last two matches due to a financial dispute regarding his club’s transfer strategies.
The captain of the squad was not present for the games against Al-Ittihad and Al-Riyadh, reportedly due to a boycott stemming from dissatisfaction with the club’s lack of transfer activity, especially after rivals Al-Hilal secured Karim Benzema.
Ronaldo’s Return and Performance
Ronaldo returned as the captain for the Saudi Pro League match against Al-Fateh after missing two matches. His involvement was significant from the start, marking his return with a goal in the 18th minute, guiding a pass from Sadio Mane into the net.
Al-Nassr’s current position in the league remains competitive, with Ronaldo also pursuing the Golden Boot, trailing Ivan Toney in goal scoring. His recent performance suggests he is back to his goal-scoring form and ready to lead Al-Nassr in their title chase against Al-Hilal.
