Michigan has regained the top position in this week's Coaches Poll, while Houston climbs the ranks following a successful week.
Michigan Is Back at the Top of Coaches Poll
Michigan has regained its position as the number one team in this week’s Coaches Poll. After a hard-fought week, the Wolverines showcased their power by defeating both Northwestern and UCLA, solidifying their dominance in college basketball.
Since suffering their last defeat against Wisconsin on January 10, Michigan has not looked back. Over the last ten games, they have claimed victory with an average margin of 16.5 points, further amplifying their claim to the number one spot. Additionally, the recent struggles of previously unbeaten Arizona have contributed to Michigan’s rise.
Arizona fell to fourth in the rankings after enduring back-to-back losses to Kansas and Texas Tech.
Meanwhile, Houston is also making headlines by climbing higher in the rankings, now sitting in the second position as they prepare for significant matchups against Iowa State and Arizona.
