The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) and the Lion enjoyed a memorable encounter at the iconic San Siro.
NFL analyst Tom Brady met soccer legend Zlatan Ibrahimović just before AC Milan’s Serie A game against Como that took place on Thursday. The two sports icons shared a heartfelt embrace, during which Zlatan presented Brady with an AC Milan jersey featuring the number 12, the same number worn by the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Brady entertained the crowd by throwing a football and even took to the microphone to declare “Forza Milan!” before the match commenced.
Ibrahimović, renowned as one of the most accomplished strikers in soccer history, is currently a senior advisor at AC Milan, a club where he has previously played. He started his career at Malmö FF and later play for clubs such as Ajax, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, as well as Italy’s top three clubs: Juventus, Inter Milan, and AC Milan. He also had a significant impact in Major League Soccer during his stint with the LA Galaxy.
Brady is familiar with the soccer world; last December, he participated in the World Cup draw in Washington, D.C., where the 48 teams competing in this summer’s tournament were allocated into groups across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
