Justin Thomas' Comeback from Injury Set for TGL Match

After recovering from serious back surgery, Justin Thomas gears up for his first competitive event of 2026 at TGL.

Justin Thomas is set to make his return to competitive golf on Monday at the SoFi Center, where he will play for his Atlanta Drive team during their fourth match of the TGL season. In a post on Instagram, he expressed excitement with the words, “See you Monday.”
Thomas has been sidelined since November 2025 following a microdiscectomy to address a back issue and was recently cleared to return to all golf activities. Competing in TGL offers him a low-pressure environment to test his skills and assess his physical readiness before rejoining the PGA Tour.
This comes after a strong 2025 season, where Thomas secured a win at the RBC Heritage, marking his first victory since 2022. Currently ranked 14th in the world, he aims to reclaim his form and is planning to participate in the upcoming Florida Swing of PGA Tour events, which begins next week.

“Recovery has gone well,” Thomas noted in January. “I’m slowly building back my strength and conditioning in the gym, and also hitting wedges/short irons. Little victories and patience have been the biggest part of the process. Taking it slow and listening to how I’m feeling each day!”
If all goes as planned, we can expect Thomas back on the PGA Tour by early March.
