Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are preparing to square off again in what is one of boxing’s most legendary rivalries. The rematch is scheduled for September 19 at The Sphere in Las Vegas, as announced by Netflix, who will be streaming the event.
The first matchup happened in May 2015, where Mayweather claimed victory with a unanimous decision. This fight generated over 4.5 million pay-per-view buys, though it received criticism for its limited action.

Negotiations for their first fight began in early 2010 but stalled due to disagreements over drug testing. Years of procedures and discussions ultimately led to their bout in 2015.
In recent years, interest in a rematch has surged, especially after Pacquiao’s return to boxing in July 2025 against Mario Barrios, finishing that fight in a notable draw. Mayweather, on the other hand, has maintained an undefeated 50-0 record since his last fight against Conor McGregor in August 2017. Both fighters are anticipated to continue their careers with exhibitions leading up to this rematch.
