Florida Ascends to No. 4; Louisville and Wisconsin Join Projected AP Top 25

Florida is projected to rise to No. 4 in the AP Top 25 after UConn's recent defeat to Marquette, while Louisville and Wisconsin make their entrance into the rankings.

The final weekend of college basketball’s regular season has concluded, paving the way for exciting conference tournaments starting next week as we approach Selection Sunday. The recent upset of UConn by Marquette on the penultimate day of the regular season is sure to cause shifts in the upcoming Top 25 poll.

With less than a week until Selection Sunday, the No. 1 seed picture is becoming clearer. Top-tier teams Duke, Arizona, and Michigan seem secure in their positions as they look to maintain their No. 1 seeds, despite the competition heating up.

Following UConn’s loss, Florida is expected to leapfrog them into the top line. The Gators have performed well and now anticipate a one-spot rise ahead of UConn in the rankings.
